Thanks for this - changed mine to Jamie-Ray this morning when I went out walking again in the lovely strong winds we've got in the UK today.

Let's just say he "sounded" much more enthusiastic about my efforts than I 😂.
👍 he’s surely has this personality. Jamie Ray is also a good trainer for hiit and kickboxing, I do all types of vids from him on fitness+. Doesn’t go as hard as Sam Sanchez.

They also need to add Cory too, that trainer is UK based and doesn’t to treadmill videos but he does time to run episode.

Only way is to take to an Apple Store
Ok thanks, that’s a shame, I can downgrade all my other devices except the watch ☹️
These watches lack physical ports, since the Apple Watch Series 7 and Apple Watch Ultra, which necessitates specialized tools for internal use only for restoration and downgrading via Apple Configurator

Consequently, they must be mailed to an AppleCare repair center or dropped off at an Apple Store through a Genius Bar appointment.

Is there a point update to 11.6.1? When I check for updates it’s telling me to update my phone first (I assume to 26), but I’m staying on 18.7 for the time being.

What is the latest for AWU1?

My watch has been updating for about a half an hour and my phone is still saying there is two hours left. How long did it take you to update your watch? Any tips on how I can solve this?

My watch has just updated (not Beta) but the watch app on my phone still says installing, I've restarted my phone but still says installing. Anyone else had this issue? Watch S10, phone 16 ProMax iOS 26,

I've noticed something odd on watchOS 26 and/or iOS 26. Devices: iPhone 15 Plus and Apple Watch S10.

When I am not wearing the watch, it seems to go in low power mode by itself after a few minutes. I can tell it's in LPM because the battery widget "circle" turns yellow for the watch on my iPhone. But when I pick it up and/or start wearing it around my wrist, low power mode is gone and the widget on iOS isn't yellow anymore.

Is it a bug of the widget on iOS, or a new feature to save battery on the watch when you are not wearing it? Has anyone noticed the same thing?

For the record, I have two watches paired with my iPhone (an Ultra 1 and the S10), so that would actually be pretty neat if one watch goes to low power mode automatically when I'm not wearing it.

EDIT: okay after doing a quick search on Reddit, that indeed seems to be a new behavior for the watch to go into LPM when it's off the charger and you are not wearing it. Pretty cool, hopefully not a bug but an intended behavior.

Bug on iOS. I don’t see my series 6 doing that.

Are you on RC or public release? Still on RC, my watch still is doing good on battery on a long day.

I'd never seen this so I thought I'd test it. I have my AWU2 and S8 sitting in front of me on my desk right now. They've both been off my wrist and off the charger for a full hour (AWU2 at 76%, S8 at 100%), neither of them have gone into low power mode. Widget on my iPhone is still green and both the battery indicators on the watch faces are still green.

I wouldn't mind if it did work though - it's a pretty cool idea to have the watch go into low power mode if you're not wearing it and not charging it.

Anyone having an odd issue where the time is showing incorrectly on the always on display, before correcting itself when you tap/otherwise wake the watch? It can be minutes or even hours ahead or behind.
Does it in sleep mode as well when tapped to wake for a second or so before displaying the correct time.

Damn. I’m on the final release. But I’m pretty sure I noticed the bug/behavior on the RC too.
I’m on public release too

I won’t do the next beta unless if it adds any new features, as we advance further to the year round beta updates from prereleases of the initial public release of the watchOS.

My AWU1 did that on the RC. It was very annoying. I noticed it most in sleep mode: when I looked at the watch it would show 2:10 AM then adjust to the real time of 5:45 AM or whatever. Fortunately, I haven’t noticed it on the final release yet.

AWU1 for me too. Did it on RC and now final release.
Getting an AWU3 tomorrow, so hopefully the unpair and restore I need to do for that might fix it.

i have done a unpair and repair and it seems like it takes longer then it did on watchOS 11
some of the default apps had to redownload and install after pairing as well

anyone else notice this?

Since final release, I am getting excellent best battery life on my AWU2 (2 years old).
It's noticeably better than watchOS11 (including running with LTE on).
It's really great, watchOS 26 is a bit laggy in some places, but very good for battery life

My Ultra has been automatically going on low power mode when taken off the charger. I use an old S7 for when I'm sleeping so I switch between watches.

Mine is 86% health
I suspect it’s more accurate than your 100% after 2 years

My AWU2 has been doing that for time, which is new since WatchOS 26.

I noticed a similar delay on the rings awhile ago where it'd take several seconds to update the data, but that's been happening since midway through the WatchOS 11 releases and continues in WatchOS 26.

Has anyone else had a hair-trigger Siri since updating? I was driving into work this morning and she complained about not being able to make sense of my (non-existent) request several times. I usually don't get false Siri activations while driving.
