We aren’t talking about TVs we are talking about tablets

There’s no reason next years iPad Pros OLED can’t be 1800 nits of brightness. More than double of most OLED tablet screens will see on that one.

To make it worth it it needs to be same or more than current Mini led displays.

Displays are displays. When you make a claim that something is going to be double of current OLED displays, it would imply 4000 nits atleast.

I don‘t see the point investing in OLED in the first place as Samsung is already making micro LED TV‘s. Apple might as well wait for Samsung to sell those displays to them and put it in the iPad Pro.

2000nits is not typical of OLEDs on tables and phones AFAIK. that's more the range of miniLED in those panel sizes. I do see that LG is finally getting TV sized OLEDs up to 2000nits but it seems like that is a very new achievement.

Display tech is sometimes tied to the size of the panels. The tech that lets Samsung build TV sized microLEDs cannot scale down to iPad size. Apple has been working with partners on smaller micrLEDs for several years and it sounds like they are close to being ready to ship on their first version.

No as We are talking about displays on tablets not TV's. Clearly by saying it will be double the brightness is based on current tablets

Brightness being doubled is also based on rumours. Not like we have anything else to go on at this stage.

I don't see apple adding OLED if the brightness isn't at least the same as mini led.
