iPhone Weather on lock screen broken

Weather widget on lock screen still not working. I see someone post it works for them, but I really can’t tell why. For the weather to automatically show on lock screen after bedtime or do not disturb us over, it requires that weather have access to location ALWAYS, if not it wouldn’t be possible to give you a forecast.
In privacy settings under weather I only got never, ask next time and only when using. I never got prompted any question about letting weather use location always. What to do?
 
I don’t even have the option to set it as “always.”

All I have is:

- Allow while using the app
- Allow once
- Never

I had it set to always on iOS 12.

Yes, thats the same to me.
And for being able to have weather on lock screen after do not disturb, its required to give weather access to location always. So it’s not working now.
 
I got a "good morning" on my lock screen, but no weather attached. It looks like they're trying to fix it.

I'm on Dev Beta 5.

That's different than the weather information that would appear on the lock screen itself (rather than the widgets screen).
 
I’m guessing it will return at some point. My 3rd party weather apps have always as a choice but that does not help here. I have been seeing hello on the lock screen for a while it seems and I miss the weather info.
 
Is this still broken after the update? I cant check my self so wondering if u guys know?

I have not seen anything still. This update I have not even been getting the Good Morning. Just emails or notifications showing.
 
I noticed when I woke this morning at 07:30 & lifted my phone I was welcomed with the Good Morning , weather temp & icon for the weather conditions.

Running iPhone X on latest Public Beta 5
 
Have you checked if you are able to set location to always under weather in privacy settings?
 
Hi all. Im on holiday with no wifi!! Im very curious if beta 7 have fixed this issue now?

Something strange going on with this bug. It previously had ‘more than 10’ similar reports in the feedback app and it recently reverted to ‘none’. Starting to suspect it’s getting ignored and won’t be getting a fix.
 
It worked the first day for me in beta1 but since then always on have been gone. Other apps like Google Maps t.e have the option always on. I miss seeing forecast on lockscreen.
