iPhone Weather on lock screen broken

Calling is most definitely not the way to go about this. He probably has silence unknown turned on... mails are a bad idea though, considering the dumpster fire called „Mail“ on iOs 13... chances are he wont see the mail in time for the Gm.


That being said, the always option is still missing here. I do get the „Good Morning“ screen but it lacks weather... so it‘s just a blurry display with gigantic Good Morning written in the middle.

Just set it to NEVER and then set the default location to your home (or where you want the daily weather report)... been working great since about DP3.
 
When you use it with Apple Watch watchOS 5.3. When setting it to ask next time. It prompt about on the watch from there you enable always. But as soon you switch to the widget or open the app on iPhone it goes back to only when using. The always option goes away.
 
Checked the status of this bug within the feedback app. Looks like it’s being addressed. Maybe my email to Craig did the trick ;)

Got the weather report this morning and didn’t refresh any weather data by viewing the weather widget/app prior to the end of the DND schedule.

Not sure I can verify as a fix without further testing/ confirmation from others
 
I just updated to iOS 13 GM & noticed my weather report was missing. I still don't have the option to set as 'always' for Weather in settings. Not really sure what I can do at this point, other than wait?

I get the weather each morning now with 13.1 and I have no option for always. It is set to While Using.

Hmmm.. I'm hopeful it returns for me when 13.1 is released. I don't mind the Weather not having the 'always' option, but I grew to like the weather forecast on the lock screen.
 
Anyon else just lost weather on lock screen after last update? It’s gone again to me.

Oh, I’m running 13.1.2 and not beta.
just wondering, are you using only “do not disturb” schedule, or are you also using the bedtime feature in the clock app set at the exactly same time?
 
I’m testing a bit. If I set DND to end in two minutes and turn off the screen it works but earlier today I set DND to end at a certain time and I waited at least 5 minutes before I checked the screen but then it was nothing there. I really don’t know why. Do I have to check the screen almost the same minute the dnd ends? I have DND set to schedule and also dim screen. On top of this I have bedtime turned on in the clock app where bedtime and wakeup it’s set at the same time as the time in DND. Still nothing in the morning when I stop the wake up alarm from bedtime in clock app.

it works.
no need to set Location tracking for Weather (can have Location completely turned off for Weather).
i do have Bedtime setting set, however.
i have no other morning alarm set up.
it gives the Good Morning and the weather for the top most set location in the weather app.

Do you use bedtime in clock app only, or do you also use DND in settings?

re: Do Not Disturb
in my Settings/Do Not Disturb, there is the following on/off:
Do Not Disturb: is not clicked to be on.
Scheduled: is clicked to be on to a schedule i have set. it is a different setting than what i have in Bedtime.
My Scheduled is set for a time just before my Bedtime comes on, and, to end 5 minutes before Bedtime wakes me up.
Dim Lock Screen: is clicked on.
