weather radar please

I was doning that up until yesterday when now i vist weather.com on my iphone it forwards to a less usefull page rather then what you get on your real web browser.
So i went on a binge till i found iweathr.com which is basically the weather.com radars
 
Radar

As an aviator I use the Aviation Weather center site.....it has current radar along with satellite maps and other depiction charts....you can also get current airport weather and forcasts......
the sight is www.adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov
one of the best sights for current weather.....works great on the IPhone too....

Yeah it does work great on the iPhone...so does Enflight.com which is a private service for DUATS

Yeah, I saw that yesterday as well. That got a big WTF from me.
 
iPhone and weather site prevents a major disaster Sunday

It's cool because if there's a thunderstorm, it'll draw arrows on the radar showing its expected movement.

If you right-click on the animated GIF, you see it's coming from wunderground.com, so maybe there's something in their PDA/MOBILE site that's similiar for your area?

I thanked you for the link last week, but now it's time to do it again. I used the 3onthego site this past Sunday to spot a major new storm and get our fleet of almost 70 sailboats off the lake just minutes before a giant thunderstorm roared up almost out of nowhere, with gale force winds over 60, large hail, and intense lightning. (Or at least, most of them, as the story tells...) Let's just say that your advice (along with my new iPhone) arrived just in the nick of time!

The iweathr.com site works as well, but I actually prefer the 3onthego site because the speed of the loop is a bit slower, it's centered exactly on my zip code, rather on the middle of the Twin Cities metro at the closer range option, and because of the directional arrows that show up on screen when major weather is on the way.

Me too! The guy whose boat sank lost his celll phone (among other things). He read my story (link in previous post above) and went straight out and bought an iPhone the next day. ;)
