I thought Weather in iOS 14 had dark sky style precipitation data (next hr etc) but that seems to be missing for me in the UK

Anyone else?

Yup, just the US so far.
This is why I have a shortcut to the Dark Sky webpage on my iPhone.

My preferred weather app (which was more detailed but didn't have the rolling precip forecast) doesn't have a Home Page weather app yet. Sigh.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for Apple's app / widget to give the correct location to the forecast, and not just the generalized name of the city. It seems it is starting to use Dark Sky's hyper-location forecasting (if you scroll to bottom of main app, it should give the location), but it doesn't translate that to the header.

considering how much brits famously talk about the weather, I'm surprised Apple didn't launch this feature in the UK first 🙃

Especially since Dark Sky in the UK has the same feature they're integrating into the native app.

It’s not missing any longer 👍. It’s working on my iPhone and on the weather widget on my iPad. Yes in the UK - Brilliant!

It’s been coming and going on my iPhone/iPad the past few days. Maybe Apple are testing it ready for the 14.5 rollout?

I find this feature incredibly useful. I’d got Dark Sky which Apple purchased and it can indicate down to a few minutes when rain will start or stop.

I would rather have it. I cycle to work some days and it's incredibly useful to know if it's going to rain or not (although, I still get wet anyway!) haha.
Exactly, I cycle from Essex to London and back (14 miles each way) when I have to work and its very handy although i do have Dark Sky notifications on.

Looks like it'll be a wet ride home today

Maybe because there's no precipitation to warn you about.

I can see on my widget that rain is forecast at 2pm so i'd expect to see the widget change at 1pm.
The minute-by-minute chart (must be a snappier name?) seems unpredictable in its appearances. Just now I was looking at the app when the screen changed to rain, and the mbmc had not shown prior to that, not is it showing now. Not a biggie, obviously.

Kicked in a few minutes ago, needed me to open the weather app though.

I've been keeping an eye on this new functionality. It only appears if it's raining or rain coming in the next hour. Otherwise it hide.
