so what's the over/under on hours of it getting a forced shutdown? I hope for us it never does.... pretty cool... these are some shows i've been wanting while working out!! i'm on wifi right now but will this work on 3g? it sucks that we can't do this legally on our iPhones i'd pay for this type of "app" ..... maybe if we keep this quiet Mom & Dad (at&t) won't find out ....LOL

Hmm. When a broadcaster transmits something (whether recorded or live) they put it 'on air'. When you watch it on your TV the signal is coming off the air (hence the phrase 'off-air'). That's why an off-air feed and a live feed (in the way you mean) are exactly the same thing. As someone who has worked for the BBC for eleven years, you can trust me on this one.
