It's OK, I saw the original, and that's exactly what I thought when I put the camera card into my iMac.

I was trying to get the finch as it stood still with the running water, focussed on the head and beak, but as I squeezed the button it shook violently. Just bad timing really, but looked kinda interesting in the end.

Now that is absurd, to win a comp with a photographic mistake

Let me think about this for a while, and I will come up with an easy theme to encourage more entries...

Super fun topic and images. Congrats to the winners. The comments were worth waiting for.

The parallelogram was merely to further squash whatever slim hope the image failed to convey. As to a lower angle I'll happily leave that to you younger folks. Having earned my DOML* several years ago, I have no trouble getting that low. OTOH getting back to the upright can be rather daunting, sometimes even requiring spousal assistance.

*DOML=Dirty Old Man License.
