Weekly Photo Competition Dec 2nd - Dec 9th: Reflections

Here we go for the next round. This week I've gone for Reflections. Not sure if we've had it before but Mrs MacRy suggested it and I do as I'm told. If we have had this recently and my ageing brain has consigned the memory to oblivion let me know and I'll change it.

Interpret it as you see fit. I am partial to well done B&W street puddle shots though if you feel like swaying my opinion ;)

Rules:
Be creative and have fun.
You may only submit one photo per contest.
Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)
At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

OK guys and gals I'll let this run for another couple of hours and then I'll rain down my judgement upon you all. I'm not going to be commenting on all of the shots this week, because I've had a really excrementy day at work and I feel that I might say things that I may later regret when it isn't really warranted.

Right let's do this.

3rd place goes to MCH1138 - What a superb wildlife shot. I love the symmetry. Really well done.
2nd place goes to USAntigoon - I really like the feel of this one. It looks so tranquil and I love the pastel colours.
1st place goes to Ish who came in and stole it at the very last minute. What a superb shot. I wish I had taken that!

That was a tricky one folks as there were so many great photos this week. You should all be very pleased with your work. First place was well and truly locked in for me with Ish's brilliant shot but the 2nd and 3rd places could have gone to any number of entries.

Special mentions to:

Indydenny for a beautiful sunset.
Miltz for a really nice autumnal landscape.
E3BK for great framing.
Butch10x for a really great night shot.
AlexH - I love your street shots.
Hugh for excellent lighting
Anotherscotsman for a really clever idea with the snowglobe theme. Well done.
Alex of Oz for that fantastic feather shot. That could very well have won it for me had I not excluded you on a technicality because it's not strictly a reflection, more a magnification. It's still a superb shot though that I loved the first time you posted it.

If I didn't mention your photo it's because I hated it. LOL. Kidding, they were all great, i'm just being curmudgeonly this evening :)
