Weekly Photo Contest, 26 Dec - 2 Jan: Rain and Fog

I live in a place where it rains. A lot. Inspired by my Christmas trip up around one of our mountains where it was alternately clear and foggy and rainy, I'm going to ask for rain and fog images. The only requirement is that rain or fog must feature prominantly in the image.

I do realize this discriminates against photographers who work where it's always dry and sunny. Sorry!

Rules:

• Be creative and have fun.
• You may only submit one photo per contest.
• Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
• The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)
• At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
• The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

My father's people were Scots. The only time I visited the ancestral lands, the weather was wonderful. I do know I got lucky, though.

Sorry, snow's not what I had in mind. True, snow and mist would make it, because the mist could pass for fog.

Some of us are from the Old World, and so miss the significance of the reference. Where is this, 'my city', exactly?

This is San Francisco, CA. One of the Golden Gate Bridge tower is what you see above the fog, along with the skyline in the background. It was a beautiful morning.
