Lovely shot - I really like the framing and composition - and congratulations. Very well done.

Really liked the pictures by chappers, imac wannabe, Hughmac (I love daffodils and the promise of Spring that comes with them) and taptic, too.
 
Great shots everyone. As always - thanks for the feedback. There was no real sign of Spring in my shot - other than my feet being in the sand...so it signaled a change in my mind at least.

Congrats to the winners.
 
It was an excellent theme for the weekly contest - and was bound to give rise to good images, assuming weather and light allowed.

In any case, I was very impressed by what the individuals who submitted pictures made of it. More to the point, this was a 'feel good' theme, - you found yourself smiling just looking at the pictures, for who could not fail to be delighted with the first glimmer of Spring?
 
Finally got a chance to look at this one. Been too busy. Great shots all around and congrats AFB.

I’ve been puzzling over this picture, as the footsteps are obviously heading towards the flowers but aren’t pointing in that direction! I’d prefer to see the flowers further from the corner and much more made of them. Maybe a picture of the flowers in the snow with just one or two footprints?

6 Footsteps. 2 for each month. From the bottom right corner of the winter to the upper left for spring depicting (in my mind) the 3 month journey through winter into spring..! The steps are pointing to spring in general and not the flowers that's why you noticed them not pointing to that direction!
Also, putting an "S" shape in a picture adds more interest !
