What I do is put two copies on the server (600 px wide) and then make the picture link to the big one.

[plain][url=http://dmmpics.co.cc/imgname.jpg][img]http://dmmpics.co.cc/imgnametimg.jpg[/img][/url][/plain]

No waiting for the full (8-10 MP sometimes) version to load for the preview.

PS: why couldn't the theme be cats or pets? I have some good ones of my cats.

PS # 2: vB code is processed like it is inside a post in the code tags?
