Mapleton
Very cool. My kid is now a junior at UVU. He spent a year and a half in Mapleton and then decided to stay in the area. UVU is the only school he applied to.

I didn't hang around to see where the young girl went! This thread is now closed for judging.
Since I've already commented on most of the photos (blushes), I've only a few to do.
@pmxperience Great night shot of the Apple Store. The only thing that could add to it would have been a longer exposure to blur auto and people movement.
@someoldguy I love the art on the building above the restaurant, but am glad I don't live across the street.
@deep diver Descriptions under the food amuse me. It reminds me of grocery store inserts that feel they need to tell you what to with with, say, an avocado "great for guacamole." They pay more for fruit there than we do here.
@Apple fanboy Love the neon sign. The storefront definitely lets you know what's waiting inside... Did the young woman in the plaid skirt go inside?
@CmdrLaForge Love the juxtaposition. Can't escape those dang power lines.
@Hughmac Red is such a great color for signs. It practically demands your attention.
Thanks everyone for your entries. It wasn't a particularly sexy theme, but is one many of look at daily. I think it helps to try and see the beauty in the mundane.
Third place: @cogi0490 for the packed-scene storefront filled with color. Great image!
Second place: @Janichsan for the arts and craft shop window. The glowing soft light is beautiful!
First place: @Susurs for the through-the-window shot of the cafeteria. Love the dimly-lit scene and the partial view of the man at the counter adds a bit of curiosity.
Good luck next (this) week!
