It’s wet, it’s wild, it’s bubbly, it’s placid, it’s reflective, it’s freezing, it’s thawing, it’s falling on our heads, it’s quenching, it’s boiling, it’s polluted, it’s dripping, it’s drying up, it’s flooding, it’s life on planet Earth - it’s Water.
Water is one of those subjects that has fascinated photographers since photography began. This week’s competition is open to your ideas about what water says to you. Have fun with your entry!

The usual boilerplate rules:

· The photographs must be your own work, no 3rd party creative commons images either.
· Be creative and have fun, as if you had a choice.
· You may only submit one photo per contest, nuff said.
· Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place, but spam all you want.
· The contest runs for a week and starts now, well, 2 seconds ago.
· At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible. I will.
· If the Judge is unable to complete the selection within 48 hours of the deadline for close, then a vote will be carried out to select a winner. This will be based on the number of "likes" each image has. In the event of a draw, the second place winner from the previous week will choose the tiebreaker.
· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
· Please update the Weekly Photo Contest Master List when you post a new contest.

Fountain and lake at Sea World Orlando, taken today. I've always been drawn to fountains and have captured a few pictures throughout the weeks.

Yeah, I figured :eek::D.
I am actually looking forward to a diverse bunch of interpretations.
The theme should be relatable to anyone.
Judging "best" will be a challenge though :cool:.

Well then, here's a shot that should be easy to discard - an old one from 2009 - a solar water fountain I made for the garden. I noticed a small snail surfing around the ball and thought it looked good. Taken with a P&S camera.

Enjoying all the entries so far. Plenty of time left to enter your interpretation!
