Here it is. It was a tough job. There were a lot of great entries. Here is my opinion. You can do with it what you like.

@akash.nu I prefer your first entry. The framing of the boats is nice. The grass in the foreground distracts a bit. Regarding the new one: I love the milky water but the photo in general lacks a focus point.

@kenoh Although you're disqualified in this contest :) , I will give my opinion. I don't mind the postcard/crowd pleaser image. It works. I love it.The man in the front gives it even more depth. One point: I would remove the object in the lower left corner.

@tizeye Great leading lines. The person in blue gives it extra depth. It must be a scary walk. It would be perfect with a sense of height. But I realise it's difficult to both include a view down and the fog.

@mollyc Beautiful warm light and a great perspective from below the bridge.

@deep diver A four-fer. Best viewed large. There a lovely bridges in your part of the world.

@malofx Amazing dancer indeed. The Golden Gate bridge is hard to beat. I feel that the combination doesn't work. It's two image on top of each other. I wonder if a different viewpoint and compositon would work out better.

@gaswerks Another image that is best viewed large. I love the blue light. The bridge leads me to downtown Calgary. Are there trees inside the bridge?

@Janichsan You really did your best to get the symmetry. The bridge looks like a no nonsense workhorse. I like it.

@anotherscotsman What's not to like? Great light, nice framing. The only thing I tfind fistracting is the foreground, but I guess moving a bit to the left was not an option?

@Darmok N Jalad The black/white works. The image is a bit too tight at the top.

@Alexander.Of.Oz Great light, great composition and a good looking bridge. The panoramic cut really adds to the image.

@Apple fanboy That's a cute bridge. Is it a folly?

@Hughmac I like that it is black/white. I somehow miss the full spectrum of grey tones. If you know what I mean.

@MacBookpro2011 That's is a nice surprise. A bridge magically appearing through the autumn trees. Love the colours.

@liquidiq Welcome! I think it would nicer as a panorama (crop from the bottom). And can you add a passing train? :)

@someoldguy You make me want to see snow again! I think the image can benefit from a tighter frame.

@Robotti This is a creative interpretation of the theme. Superb lighting.

@inkmich This is the type of bridge we all imagined that we were building with Lego as kid. Great structure, tough looking. The image is missing a focal point.

@MacDevil7334 The exposure is perfect: the faded lights and clouds and blue sky look great. It makes a dull bridge look beautiful. A very pleasant image.to look at. Could you have gone a bit downhill to separate the top of the bridge from the horizon?

@Donka Straight from a distopian SF movie. The B/W conversion is well balanced. I like it.

@Mark0 More autumn colours. A lovely bridge

To sum things up. I ended up with a list of 8 that I really liked. However that's not allowed.

Congrat's to @MacBookpro2011 for the win with a magical image! Thanks to @oblomow for the feedback and tour call this week.

Mine was a quick and easy 24mm tilt-shift pano. with a really easy shift left and right of about 11mm either way and a central frame, all assembled in Lightroom upon import.

Some very high calibre entries again this week! Well done all.

What this round showed me was that I need to start taking more bridge photos. There was a lot of creative and inspiring work going on here! Well done and well judged!

Now that the contest is over, a dark horse entry (not taken by me):

Thanks for the kind words. Sense of height is difficult, particularly when it took 2 ski lifts with a mid-level change to get that high. I do have others which show some height but they are at that relative height. Also have others with blue and scattered clouds sky, but really like this one when the cloud came in.

Rather than post other photos to supplement, I am going to do a little better as TonyC28 found it "absolutely terrifying" and Kenoh PM'd me. I sent him this link. https://www.glacier3000.ch/en It will definitely show the height! WARNING - he added it to his bucket list! Also, the big white letter signs with shadows don't exist as they were video add ins to describe the area.

Nice feedback for everyone. Didn't envy your job this week.

Can't disagree with your winners. Well done everyone.

The bridge is in fact a bit of a folly from Stowe Landscape park.
Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

Is the disqualification for life or just until you get the new Leica? :p

Or is that the same thing!

Cheers oblomow great contest with some fantastic entries - congratulations to the deserved podium posts.

I was already hanging over the edge of the barrier so moving further left was certainly not an option!

Congrats to the winners , and thanks to @oblomow for taking the time for individual commentary . Thought I had one to beat @deep diver 's 4 bridges but it was not to be . So I went with Bow Bridge in winter .

Thanks for the honorable mention and a great contest! Yeah I wish I could have gone downhill a bit to separate the bridge from the horizon. But that overlook doesn’t really offer that option since it’s on the edge of a cliff!
