Deep diver: I’m sure I have a landscape one somewhere but they’re all in my back up HDD.
This was shot on a visit to the memorial around 8 years ago. I don’t have that many of them on my online gallery but shots from the day just fitted the theme so well.

On my way to pick up Daughter #2 today in Pittsburgh I passed by the entrance into the Flight 93 National Memorial just outside of Shanksville, PA. The memorial commemorates those who fought for control of an airliner taken over by terrorists on 9/11. I had to stop and visit. I was too late of course to submit a photo for the contest but wanted to post this nonetheless.

A beautiful monument. I just wish they never had to build them for reasons like that. Why cant we all just accept we are different and get along together.
