This looks as though it's a really tough one to judge -- whew! He may still be working on it.....
Been almost 3 days since he closed it. I hope @Slartibart is OK. In the meantime I guess @oblomow gets to be the judge.
I am currently in norway. When i get back this evening I can do the judging when there is still no news from @Slartibart

BTW That square is identical to one I inherited from dad and he perhaps from grandad. Certainly been around for many many years.
Actually, looking at it, it’s the exact same square I have in my tool drawer in the garage

@oblomow Thanks for the stand in judging. Your shot seemed like a possible winner too. I guess you can take “honorable first,” since you took on the yoke of judging this one!
I use thirds a lot. Turning on the thirds guidelines is one of the first things I do when I setup a camera.
