Congratulations to Molly, and to Akash.nu and Strider64!

Yes, Mackmgg, I have plenty of birding opportunities around my neighborhood and on my own deck! I like to go walking around the area (when it's a little cooler and less humid) to see what I can find: herons, turtles, squirrels, various smaller birds) and sometimes I can shoot them right from my deck if they're in the water swimming by.

Oh wow!! Thank you @mackmgg!! I actually shot this from inside my dining room through the window and screen. 🙂

I will be back soon with a new challenge!

I’ve taken plenty of bird photos through window/screen. It certainly tests the autofocus system trying to focus through a screen! Especially at an angle, they can’t seem to handle that.

Well done everyone! Good judging to @mackmgg. No defiantly not a bread maker. I eat about 2-3 slices a week and Mrs AFB can't eat it at all. Plus the farmer would probably complain! We do have a random corn plant growing in the front garden though. Might make some cornflakes!

Good judging and congratulations to mollyc and fox image

And yes, I do ride all 4 seasons, in winter it’s studded tires at 2-3 psi.
Below is after 8” snowfall on a technical trail called Torn Shirt, it’s tough in dry conditions....

I've got studded tires, but they're only 1.5" wide so I have to wait for the snow to get packed into ice first! Luckily that happens pretty quickly here, and then once it's too icy I've got the trails to myself. Certainly every trail gets less technical when the snow is covering the rocks! I think most people here end up with their fastest times being in deep snow

@mackmgg great job on the adjudicating and theme selection. Congratulations to @mollyc for a very classic looking image of the Fox! & well done to all that shared an entry for a good range of explorations of place and your connection to it through photography; the myriad of ways in which we all do this is wonderful to see expressed in the one place!
