Weekly Photo Contest: JAN 27th - FEB 3rd "Can't Believe My Eyes"

Another week, another contest! Let's crank this baby up to 11 and hop straight to it. On to the theme!

"Can't Believe My Eyes"

Is this the real life, or is this just fantasy? I'm looking for the fine line between the known and the unknown, the possible and the impossible. Show me the shot that you (or other people) still can't believe you were able to capture.

I'm looking forward to your submissions. Lets get posting!

Now for the rules:

· The photographs must be your own work.

· Be creative and have fun.

· You may only submit one photo per contest.

· Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.

· The contest runs for a week and starts now!

· At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.

· If the Judge is unable to complete the selection within 48 hours of the deadline for close, then a vote will be carried out to select a winner. This will be based on the number of "likes" each image has. In the event of a draw, the second place winner from the previous week will choose the tiebreaker.

· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

· Please update the Weekly Contest Master List when you post a new contest

It is a great topic and there are already fantastic images in the thread. I am not sure if I can come up with something.

I too don't seem to be able to cough up the goods for this one either! I've scoured my entire catalogue and tried to think of something to capture and nothing meets the criteria of "can't believe my eyes." I've never captured people or animals in that once in a lifetime moment, ever, so I'm out for this one. Sorry, Charles.

This snowfall lasted less than 10 minutes and had the most cinematic snowflakes I've ever seen. It all melted only hours later, so I've always been thankful I was able to grab this brief moment.

Oh well, just for the sake of it...

I rounded a corner the other day at the Adelaide Central Market, and these two guys were having a good old fashioned stare-off! Dunno what was behind it, but it was my own little "can't believe my eyes" thing, so I captured it.

I didn't really feel like I had an image that fitted the theme this week guys. Plus tbh seeing some of those entries, I knew I had nothing to compare!
