Gorgeous lght. The only thing with my Vegas trips being in November is that the light hasnt been strong enough to get beams like this.
Yeah , you only get the light beams from IIRC May to mid September . I was there in late June . So was most of North America , it seemed . The only way I was going to get any decent images was to go in on a 'photo tour' , where you go in with one of the Navajo guys who has some photo knowledge and knows what will be visible when . He tells you where to set up your tripod , and arranges for crowd control when the time comes .You get a couple of minutes at each point to bang out as many shots as you can .Well worth it . Lower Antelope Canyon was a LOT more relaxed , not too many people, had time to wander a bit , but no light beams . Plus you get to go in through a giant crack in the earth . Was your composite done in Lower? I'd thought about going on one of the night excursions my guide offered , but just couldn't work it in .

Yep mine was in Lower.

Yes I had a shirt window of opportunity to go so while a night excursion would have been fun, I couldnt work it in either.

This reminds me of a shot I took a few years ago. I setup several cameras during the Perseid meteor shower in 2013. This was one of the locations but I didn't get any good meteor shots from it. However, the Milky Way did make an appearance.

The walls of this slot were only about three feet apart. I couldn't quite nail the hyperfocal distance. I should revisit the shot someday with the 14mm lens. It is more forgiving with the focus but it on has an aperture of f 2.8.
