so, after all the drama, the tension and the seat hanging, we have had a competition.

art is a subjective medium and this is quite a hard subject to comment on, so I hope you will forgive me if this week I will only announce winners.

3rd place Filmbuffs & JDDavis for having an object-oriented mindset.
2nd place Imac wannabe for attempting trash art
1st place Apple fanboy for creative nature loving

I am in no way exhibiting favoritism towards AFB. He understood the brief, made a decent attempt of re-purposing an everyday object and depicted it in a comprehensive manner.

Good job needfx and thanks for judging. I always find it hard to come up with an interesting theme that hasn't already been done. I enjoyed learning about "ready-made".
 
Thanks for judging! I had fun learning about Duchamp and his work. Mine was a little obscure. One of the things he was known for was the Mona Lisa with the "hot pants" comment in French. My ready made objects were attached to a refrigerator rack with the words "nice rack" in German. My 10 year old son helped me put it together...as 10 year old boys do he giggled all day long about the title:D. Thanks again!

Wow, I don't really know what to say. I wasn't really sure if my idea was what you were after or correct. Anyway thanks for the challenging subject. I'll post the next one later this evening.
