OMG.. I was there today!
Lucky guy. I wish I could go back anytime soon. Not before 2020 I guess. Looking forward to it still.
OMG.. I was there today!
Lol... It takes some getting there but is one of those places you go where you are just slack jawed at the beauty...
In the Navajo Nation in northern ArizonaLove it! Where is it?
Agree there. What never ceases to amaze me is the diversity that comes with each theme... It's inspiring as a newbie to the dslr world! Love how much I learn in this forum.Really fantastic entries this week. Looking forward to the voting

My apologies for the late reply and lack of content on this post folks, but I'm swamped at the moment and am not able to give this the time it deserves.
But here's your winners for this week. Again, sorry for the lack of feedback.

on the election front, we're also out of luck.
there is no one here with the grit to properly drag us out of the muck while being stuck between a rock and a rough place.

@needfx, that was a stunning shot, a really superb picture - and a great idea for the new competition; very well done.
I also loved @Alexander.Of.Oz's shot - but then, I am rather partial to libraries, and @Indydenny's cathedral also pressed my buttons.
Of the others, yes, @MacRy's sombre crucifix was beautifully captured, and the lighting, angles, and composition of @someoldguy's image were wonderful.

No problem, @The Bad Guy. I've got you covered. Through the magic of Nuero-Linguistic Cereabral Brain-Mapping (erm, predictive text), I've computed 204 words you've written in this thread and generated your most likely critiques. Normally, these things are a bit wonky, but I was surprised by the accuracy.
@MacRy, most of the time, the light is closed, but your submission, sir, is fairly light and it is light, and it's awesome. Actually, some say the combination of light and shadows is what makes photography this. I think it's what light and lack of content is.
@someoldguy, the time and lack of feedback is light, but it's the best photo of the winners and stuff. Light is what makes light photos, but I'm going to be on location. Come judgment day, the time of light is closed; I'll leave the interpretation to you.
@needfx, it's awesome actually. Some of the light is yours and some is closed. The moment the winners are correct, the time is fairly open. Shadowplay is artificial. Light is light. It's your best of the best, but of what makes my photos different, I say, is the combination of light and stuff.
It gets a bit existential towards the end, but I think these are wise words.
