Weekly Photo Contest: Sept 10 - Sept 16 (B&W Form & Light)
Welcome to this week's photo contest thread!
Theme: Black and White, Form and Light
Something dear to my heart in the world of photography for this weeks contest. It's all about the form and the plays of light upon that form, something I learn from with every image I take.
This could be achieved in so many ways, from a simple object, right on through to a grand landscape. Whatever grabs your eye, or minds-eye if you pre-visualise your images. I want to see dimension, shape and form, highlighted with the use of black and white finishing. Advanced use of a lighting rig is absolutely not necessary for this one, keep an eye out for light and its play across, over and through things. We are surrounded by it everywhere, once we learn to see it.
Go forth, explore, create, have fun with it and maybe even make it an expression of yourself.
Rules:
1. Be creative and have fun.
2. Please submit only one photo per contest.
3. Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
4. The contest starts now and runs until September 16th 2014 at 6pm GMT.
5. At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible. (Judge has 24 hours to make decision)
6. The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme)
