[doublepost=1507147414][/doublepost]Shortly it is.
Thanks to everyone who entered - great entries and good variety despite the theme perhaps being a bit more difficult to work to than many weeks.
What follows is simply my personal take on each photo as it applies to the theme so please treat with the requisite pinch of salt. Sorry but my comments may be a bit more abbreviated than normal.
AlexanderofOz: Right on theme with the repurposed baking tin. I like the way the colours and tones are muted to give a gentle, almost pastel tone to the picture. Something living coming from an item at the end of its original useful life. Nicely composed.
Someoldguy: Again, nicely on theme with the industrial wheel (belt-drive?) supporting the mailbox. Nicely composed with the wheel between the posts but the high-contrast ambient light doesn't do it justice.
Karnicopia: Trash container? as a medium for art - certainly repurposed. Looks a bit like stencil work to my untrained eye. Good spot and nice piece of urban life.
Nathan King: Although the comments suggest that perhaps there hasn't actually been any repurposing; once and still a market/meeting hall, these weekly events are meant to be about a bit of fun and learning for all so I'm not going to disqualify the entry. I really like the B&W treatment - nicely exposed with loads of detail everywhere in the scene - enough going on to give the perception of a bustling venue without being too distracting. Nice perspective in a challenging venue.
Susurs: The bowl is certainly repurposed! Despite not being a particular cat-lover, I think you've captured what I consider to be a typical cat feature; couldn't-care-less

Nice use of DoF to really focus on the cat who's pose is great.
Oblomow: From industrial factory to artistic venue, certainly repurposed. Good contrast between the exposed and redundant ironworks and the more refined orchestra musicians. Wouldn't have thought the acoustics were up to much though...
Apple fanboy: From junk to art...amazing what you can get away with by calling it art but that's a topic for another discussion

B&W treatment works well, especially against the backdrop of the tower-block housing. Portrays (to me) the sort of sticking plaster use to which 'art' can be used to try to enrich otherwise sterile urban environments. That might be a bit too deep...
VIPmediastar: Nice repurposing of bike. Nicely composed street scene where no-one appears to be paying any attention to the performance (assuming one was taking place). Gives a good impression of everyone too busy getting on with their own lives. I like the vibrant colours in contrast to the relatively subdued urban environment. Makes me smile (and that takes something...)
Molly: repurpose a home for a fire training venue - an arsonist's dream

I like the warm colour tones (autumnal/fire) of the scene but it would have been great to have captured some more fireman activity to really put it in perspective. Must have been exciting!
Deep diver: A lot of rail lines were repurposed like that in the UK in the 1960's (Beeching cuts). I like the really moody capture that still manages to highlight some detail in the brickwork. Almost post-industrial atmosphere where you can imagine the trains speeding through with purpose.
Now the hard bit.
1st AlexanderofOz
2nd VIPmediastar
3rd Susurs (despite the cat)
I'd like to give special mentions to Nathan King and to Deep Diver.
Thanks again to everyone who submitted and over to Alexander for the next one.
