I am pretty sure that is Oneonta gorge. A spot which is the very definition of wicked lighting, and you have handled it about as well as could be done. Again some blown highlights but overall a good capture of a very challenging subject. You brought back wonderful 40 year old memories of magic rocks and wading that stream with my then future bride, and my 4x5. Thanks!

Ah you are right. It is Oneonta gorge. It's been years and thanks for judging and critiquing the photos!

Prefer today's to the one you entered. I like seeing the additional background and of course the green leaves help a bit as well.
Comparing the two , I think I like today's better , too . The entry was taken IIRC in April after either a sudden thaw or nor'easter , don't remember which . Just a bit too early for the trees to leaf out .
