Although I've heard of this problem in rare cases, I've never personally experienced this in the years of owning my iPhone. Not even during the long Infinity Blade sessions.

anyone getting an electric tingle in hands when holding iphone 5, i been feeling it since launch, googled it and found this thread, phone is flawless otherwise don't want to replace if its in my head.

Hey am I the only one or have you guys ever noticed a tingly feeling in your hand/hands while using the iphone to browse the net? This is one of the main reasons that I'm getting a case.

I know it heats up, but I'm talking about more than just the heat.

Hey, My finger is still feeling a numbness/tingly sensation just from texting on my i phone. My family laughs at me about it. They have had one for a year or so and I just got mine last week. I know it is not my imagination. I just am not sure if it is something to be concerned about. I am a bit, though.

I seriously feel the same. It's more like low electric charge going through the finger. The feeling now stays longer in my palm even I no longer hold the phone. Mostly around my ring finger and thumb. Now I am switching hand when using my iPhone. I am using iPhone 6s.

It's probably to do with the weight of the phone slightly pulling a sinew or muscle. I had this as well but realised I had the same sensation when holding my camera for a bit

No you are not, and the tingling (aka electricity) has slowly becone worse, although it is still only an irritation not yet actual pain, I was thinking about taking it back in case it was faulty. Getting a case does not help but maybe screen cover might.

I am on the 4th iPhone over a period of about 6 years that does this. Typically it begins to happen after I’ve had the phone for a year and a half to two years. Holding and using the phone makes my skin tingle and burn. The phone itself is not hot and it has nothing to do with nerves or how I’m holding the phone. The feeling is in whichever hand holds or touches the phone and continues long after I’ve put the phone away. Currently my skin is burning from fingers up to elbows. It feels like I have been irradiated.

[doublepost=1558891871][/doublepost]I just started getting this feeling two days ago. It starts almost immediately when I hold my phone and it stays for up to an hour when I put the phone away. If I switch hands, I will get the feeling in the other hand. I have an iphone 8 and I have had this phone for 1,5 years, but this feeling only started now. Did you find out what is causing this?

It’s a ground loop. Your phone plugged in when it happens?

Hi! No, it is not plugged in when it happens. And it happens almost immediately when I touch the phone. The feeling will stay for up to 30 min, maybe more.

Hmm. That makes no sense. Should be impossible. Current shouldn’t run through you without a cord to complete the loop. Strange.

Yes, I will start by borrowing a different phone, to see if it is a problem with the actual phone. It is terribly strange. The phone does occasionally heat up a lot, but this feeling starts almost immediately so way before the phone gets warm.
