Updated my iPad Pro 9.7 and iPhone 6s this morning OTA. Both went fine with no glitches. Both did take awhile. Time will tell whether things continue without a hiccup.

Apple update day is always a scary day for me. iPhone, iPad, iMac and AppleTV all got updates yesterday. Thankfully they all went smoothly.

Sorry to hear about your iPhone, hopefully Apple will get it fixed up for you really quick.

You couldn't get it into recovery mode?

Thanks, they did manage to "revive" my iPhone. But to answer your question, technically I could get it into recovery mode... but after the recovery finished and it put the OS back onto the phone, I was sent straight back to the boot loop. Not sure what they did to fix this, should've asked but I was in a hurry.

Something else I noticed: I've been trying to restore my iPhone from an iCloud update, and it errors out of ALL of them. I plugged it into iTunes and was able to restore just fine from a backup way back in September. I don't know a whole lot about how iOS functions, but *maybe* there's been some corrupt data in my iPhone for a while now and the update was the straw that broke the camel's back?

No idea, just glad to be back up and running even if I've lost a bit of data.
