Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black Hard Drive with 2007 iMac?

I have a new 1 TB in Caviar Black in a late 2006 iMac C2D and the machine is much faster than it was before and I even think it is cooler and quieter. It definitely is quieter and neither the fans have sped does up or anything nor does there feel like there is significant at all heat anywhere in the machine. I bet it is actually cooler.
