OK. I hope better luck with the next shipment.
I’m on holiday now but I’ll post a full report on Monday.

but from factory the display is under deltae 5 and 6500k.
And you get a cert with the display.
And my screen was deltae 1.5 as default.

I can’t see any univene field on the display and I can’t see any enormous backbleed either I’m impressed.

when I did profile it I did get the greyscale under deltae 0,5.

ill use lgs own calibration software next week with the 3d lute to try it out more.

Was that measured with P3 or sRGB colors? Anyway sound pretty impressive factory calibration. Did it come with calibration sheet with it showing factory measurements and was that listed as dE 5? I guess there is then large variation possible between units if that is their limit.

Any issues with viewing angles? Saw quite many saying viewing angles are narrow.
How close to the table arm allows to lower bottom edge of display?

hi,
I have uploaded some pictures here;

The certificate regarding calibration are stating “lower then deltae 5” so they only guarantee that your display have deltae under 5.
You can see the picture for the cert in the link above.

but keep in mind that deltae 5 are good. Really good and my guess is that all displays are around deltae 1-3 . Everything under deltae 3 the human eye can’t see.
I have been calibrating for 11 years now and under 5 I can’t see either if I don’t push it.

I just want a 5K display that matches my imac 5k display in all specs, color and quality not from LG.
Yes. LG makes them for apple, but their stand alone seems to have so many issues.

come on apple. this fall or bust on your own displays!
Buy another 5k iMac. You can use it as a second monitor with the new MacOS I believe.

Literally doesn't exist, and won't until Apple releases a new standalone display.

FWIW I've had zero issues w/ my 24" 4K LG Ultrafine.
