If you have the need to run apps that require mouse inputs . . . you already know that there's a platform for that. Along with optical drives, usb/firewire, wired ethernet, audio in, DVI out . . .
Lack of mouse support wouldn't stop me from picking on up, and isn't something that I'd ever use a whole lot. There are a few occasions where I could travel light and not lug a laptop with me and it would be convenient. Since they didn't mention it, I'm not holding my breath.
