say what? I fail to see how anybody can be confused over iMessage. Whats the problem here?
Not everyone is used to configuring an Apple product, handling multiple addresses, confirming what OS version their peers are using or sending special instructions to friends about which address theyre supposed to send a message to.

Im not saying iCloud is complicated, but it definitely isnt as easy as its mainstream customers are used to.

iMessages was one of the most flawed ideas ever. I really don't know if I can summarize the problems it has within this post

Was? Did Apple get rid of iMessages already?

Also, I hate people who complain vaguely about something without even any personal evidence so much, I can barely being to summarise the reasons why within this post...

people who have friends & relatives in other countries will love iMessage.

I congratulate Apple for copying the original and ultra successful BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) system perfectly. There's a lot to be said for a good job of replicating what RIM did so many years ago. The advantages are many.

Check some of the threads around here. People popping in and out of data coverage areas causing long delays in iMessage delivery. Failure to switch over causing messages to go into the ether. Stale registration info causing messages to go to the wrong devices, etc. Might want to look around.
