What all apps are borked by OS 2.1?

I said this about SplashID, initially, but then after launching the program 10 times the keyboard suddenly disappeared. Hence my recant of an earlier statement that SplashID was bug free. Later launched eWallet and had a similar issue, namely the keyboard doesn't show at the initial login screen. Interesting similarity.

i tried it 10+ times with ewallet and i can't reproduce your problem. keyboard always displayed in the password screen for me.

mmm... Strange and you're lucky. I've just done a run and had it fail on the 5th and 6th attempt. I'll take a picture with a camera when I get back tonight.

FWIW I've contacted Ilium about this too.

Both versions of my app EirText & EirText Pro now crash on firmware 2.1. I've rushed out a fix, but I now have to sit and wait until Apple pull the finger out and approve it. Again.

Oh well, at least I have a pile of support emails to keep me occupied until the update hits...

We have refined our physics engine over the last months, and the new version of the game (2.1) is at Apple for a week now to be released - the new version is with higher framerate, more responsive flipper arms and upgraded graphics.

Can you add 'Whoshere' to the list too.. this crashes on loading every time for me, although the developers can't replicate this.

I've tried numerous reboots and resets, deletions and downloads but nothing seems to fix it. Several installed apps attempted to re-download themselves following the update though, only to mysteriously disappear before the status bar was filled in..

Add me to the list as well for the Asphault 4 game. My sound files for drifting and braking also make a terribly loud sound and are most likley corrupt somehow. Also, whenever I try to race in New York, the application often crashes on me. A restart does fix this however, but kinda strange. I have not had it crash trying to race at other locations.

Also, add me to the list for SpashID. Same issue as reported by others. I am glad the developer is on top of it though and is working on a fix.

I hope Gamloft will do the same.

Keyboard and chat area disappear in Facebook chat on the iPhone 2.1 software update. Easiest way to confirm is to start chatting with one person, go back to your buddy list and chat with another person, then switch back to chatting with the original person. The keyboard may not appear, nor will the chat box for typing in words.

Note: One commenter on toucharcade forums RPGGuy claims the 2.1 firmware no longer plays 8 bit sounds correctly which may explain the many sound glitches in some apps.

Note #2: It appears as though applications which prompt for a password upon launching unreliably present the keyboard for password entry. Both SplashID and eWallet appear to have the same issue. However tapping the password blank brings up the keyboard manually.

I can confirm that Truphone is not working properly. I have to turn off the phone and turn it back on. Truphone has never been a great app but now it is even more crappy.

It's working fine for me. Tried opening it a few times to make sure. Have you tried deleting it and reinstalling it again?

What's on works for me. though the first time i tried to launch it, it crashed back to the homescreen (one of the first apps on 2.1 to crash upon launching). however, the second time i tried to launch it, it came up and is working fine, on 3g.

amazingly enough, the app doesn't seem to work on wifi though....can someone else confirm this?
