I'll skip the two-screen models and wait for the iPad Scroll. You roll out only as much screen as you need for a task. You can flip it over to have a whole different desktop/home page on the back side. The flexible OLED screen stays protected in it's tube when not used. Future versions will be sold as window (not Windows) shades. ;)

That's not a bad idea...

If we're going to do a bit of 'blue sky' thinking then here's my suggestion. I'd like to see Apple push the cost and weight of iPads as low as possible, and produce several sizes. Once they become cheap enough if would be feasible to buy several and treat each as it's own object. For example you could have your web research on one, make notes on a smaller second and have a chat client running on a iPhone sized third.

I think that this would be a more natural, physical way of doing the tasks that we currently use virtual-multitasking to solve. There wouldn't be any logical disconnect for the user as each pad would only be doing one task at a time. Communication and synchronisation between the devices would be critical to making this work. A simple example would be sharing the copy-and-paste clipboard between your group of pads.

I think that would be very useful. For instance, I have a time tracking app on my touch. I anticipate that I would be loading this app onto the iPad when I get one. And it would be extremely useful if the data for this app could be synced between the touch and the iPad without having to go through a computer or internet.

Great ideas, but here is mine. I think the iPad is really cool but what I want is something smaller, say 4.3 by 2.4 inches, that can fit in my pocket. But I still want a touch screen and a great picture. Now if Apple could make an iPad that size that would be something insanely great!!!;)

This is getting very tiring. So you like the touch/iphone, and it's the right size for you. For those of us who wanted something bigger, there is now the iPad. Now we are both happy. It's not like Apple is going to stop making the touch/iphone, is it?

Lol its so funny, everyone was waiting and begging Apple for an iPad/tablet computer, then when its actually here everyone's past that and on to the next thing lol:rolleyes:
