If you are asking what are the most essential jailbreak features, then this is easy:

1)SBSettings-toggles in notification center

2)Activator-activates anything from anywhere

3)-iFile-file manager for iOS

4)-Auxo-iOS 7 card-multitasking and other features

5)-Winterboard-install custom themes

6)-Display Recorder-record the screen

7)Hack....um...never mind

NcSettings. No toggles, lame.

Messages. No quick reply, lame.

Push for Gmail. No push gmail for iOS, lame.

TetherMe. Have unlimited data, but your carrier charges you extra to use they way you like, lame.

Winterboard. Can't make the UI look the way you want, lame.

Bottom line; iOS is lame without jail break awesomeness.

TetherME
Auxo
xbmc
swipe Selection
springtomize
color keyboard

those are the reason i jailbreak. Words cant describe how excited i am to get an iphone 5 or "5s" because im on sprint and have unlimited and will tether the crap out of it lol

No push for email is only valid for new idevices using gmail, besides that it is not an Apple issue but a Google/Microsoft issue

A few others I didn't see mentioned yet:

Folder Enhancer
MusicControlsPro
iBlacklist (last I saw, still more configurable than iOS 7's built in blacklist function)
AdBlocker (or changing your hosts file to block ads)
BiteSMS
Ipsum
MultiIconMover
Navigate From Maps (Navigon still blows Apple Maps out of the water as far as navigation goes, but sucks as far as inputting addresses)
20 Second Lockscreen
RetinaPad (massive improvement over normal 2x doubling of iPhone apps on the iPad--I'd JB that device for just this one tweak!)

And that list leaves off all the cosmetic-only tweaks I run. Those are just a bonus on top of the increased functionality gained via jailbreak.

-IntelliScreenX - Sticky Calendar
-f.lux
-Infinidock
-IPhoneDelivery
-SwipeSelection
-KillBackground

The calendar from IntelliScreenX is really something I can't live without.

We've all got our favourite tweaks..

I couldn't do with placing my iPhone back into Apples sandboxed world !

1. Activator
2. Winterboard
3. Ifile
4. Nonewsisgoodnews
5. Nospot

I hate the newstand app and the spotlight search :)

Springtomize will hide newstand and the nospot screen- plus allows many more tweaks!!!

Bitesms
Xbmc

Never thought I would say this, but as Apple releases newer versions of iOS I am finding less and less reasons to jailbreak my iPhone, with that said...

Currently installed on my iPhone 5:

asktosend - still useful
asktocall - still useful
applocker - still useful
ncsettings - still useful
safari download manager - not that important
winterboard - not that important
iCleaner - still useful
iFile - still useful
3Gunrestrictor - not that important
Peekly - not that important

I really am contemplating removing the jailbreak on my iPhone 5 for the release of iOS 7, as I don''t think I'll miss it as much.

Now regarding my iPad 3, that's a different story as I absolutely can't do without XBMC, Applocker, iCleaner, Safari Download Manager, ProTube, DisplayOut, iFile and a couple other minor tweaks.

It's strange because when I first bought the iPad, I didn't really see anything worth jailbreaking it for..but gradually over time I've built it up to be an entertainment power house gizmo:D:cool:

I really like the sound of the rumored iPad 5, but unless iOS 7 is jailbroken, it will be hard to part with my JB iPad 3.

f.lux is great, but why the icon?
Once it's set up I don't have a need for it. Setting it up via settings on my iPhone would have been just as easy.

I wish more tweaks would do without the icon (semi-tether is another example).

Ditto thanks to Bumpy :D

Oh snap! Hahaha what's up Bob? How you been? I'm still lurking around on this sub-forum although not as much as last year.

Edit: Flux is arguably my all time favorite tweak. Whenever I use a device without flux late at night, I am quickly reminded of flux's greatness. It's easy to forget its impact.
