Live my life. I work in a region where people drive $100K cars and multimillion dollar homes. They don't care and I'm not seeking their attention.
I got work to do. The X will be my 8th phone. I had 11 until I sold off four of them recently. I will probably charge it first. Then the apps I have on the SE. Put my music on there. Swap sims. Use it.
In all honesty, I'm not even a huge fan of the design. But it's going to replace my LG G5 as my main phone. And my G5 (Oct 6) isn't even a month old yet. And while its $350 more than my Pixel, it definitely is superior to it.
Pixel - $650
iPhone X - $1000
X is close to same height/width, water/dust resistance, 0.8 bigger screen, better design, wireless charging, gesture controls, and Telephoto. Just a better phone, period.
I carry at least two phones, so I guess it's my iPhone SE-X duo for work.
iPhone X (phone), left holster
iPhone SE (GPS), right holster
Moto E (GPS), car
I can already imagine some cashiers where I pick up food will ask me about it or whatever but I usually use my SE to show them the order.
Whichever phone has a sim becomes like my pocket Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi hotspot. One phone per day is not enough to DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, or GrubHub for me. I need to carry a minimum of two.
My LG phones will be mostly home now which benefits them. It means better longevity since I won't drain their batteries every single day. I can drain two phones down to 0-15% because of tethering and GPS.
SE-X for work!
Android for pleasure.
Android is better for media playback for me anyway. This X could be my last iPhone for this decade. My next phone after this is likely Android. I'm more of an Android but with a heart.
Android is complicated like Jaime Lannister! I like that. Unpredictable. Lose a hand, gain a heart...
