Been there, done that. It's like alcohol, cigarettes, mj, and gambling. They won't disappear tomorrow. They will continue to be produced forever.
Think like Hugh Hefner. Women will always be there for me. They turn 18 or 21 every single day. Odin Force. Billions of females to last billions of lifetimes for any man.
Scumbag men and their admirers aside...

Especially Sexy Boy… ah (relative) youth! #waxinglyrical
Oh it was.If I recall, it was quite popular among the gay community; but yes, brilliant album.
Some of their other music is excellent, too, (especially Talkie Walkie), but nothing they have done since matches Moon Safari.
I like their music and have most of their albums on CD (Moon Safari has been played to death almost - the case shows signs of heavy use), but think that their most recent stuff has little of that wonderful flair of their first few albums.
I first heard La Femme D'Argent in 1998 in an upmarket restaurant with an artistic ambience and was so bowled over - not by the food which was mediocre, overpriced and utterly forgettable - but by the music - that I asked the waiter about it. He knew at once what I was talking about, was delighted, and took the trouble to write the details down for for me. The very next day I bought the CD and have played it endlessly ever since.
That’s a rare story in our day (God I feel old...I realised the other day I’ve been using MS Word longer than our students- 20 to 22- have been alive) as nowadays most people would just use Shazam or a similar app to identify a song they liked. I also really like Moon Safari and am just a bit more modern as I purchased it through iTunes so no physical cd but the album is mine no need to stream.
And here is a neat clip of turn of the century San Francisco set to “La Femme d’Argent”
