Oh, some stuff from the early Sixties, which includes The Flamingoes, with 'I Only have Eyes For You'.

Shoo bop shoo bop. That was a thing between me and someone instead of saying "I love you". I almost forgot about it . Thank you for the reminder.

I love oldies. Particularly ones from that era.

I've been failing at listening to music lately. I recently got a new guitar, so that's been my music for the last week or so. Been learning to play random songs. Just started working on "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheeran. Pretty song/easy to play. So I suppose that's what i've been listening to, except it's me playing/singing it and not Ed Sheeran..

Wow there is some great music on here, good mix. I recently purchased an album by British band Bastille after hearing them on the Brits. Pompeii got stuck in my head so I got it on iTunes, then got another single then the album was only like a fiver with many more tracks so I though it well worth it. Now I'm listening to it all the time and I like every song on the album, Pompeii and Laura Palmer stand out but I think they are all good. Really like this guys voice. Anyway try the album 'All This Bad Blood' by Bastille, I'll try and post a link to them live, not sure if it will work mind.

Cheers.

Just thought of another album I can't get enough of at the minute, it's called If You Wait by London Grammar, a relatively new purchase but again I pretty much like every song on the album. The lady vocalist has, in my opinion, a wonderful voice, see what you think...

Went a bit old skool tonight and listened to the amazing genius of Kraftwerk. Electro pop deliciousness. My apologies to the mods as I don't know how to use the YouTube tags thingy, but here they are doing The Robots.

I consider myself a pretty big Beatle fan, but I just saw this live version of "Revolution" for the first time. Glorious as always.

Yes, I know that this is cheesy, tacky, pop, and whatnot, but I just love the song!

In a coffee shop.
……….
Also some Buena Vista Social Club

YouTube: video

Great choice.

I love the Buena Vista Social Club, and have most of their CDs. Actually, over a decade ago, I had the exquisite pleasure of hearing them play, live - one of those evenings of pure, sublime magic, the sort of evening which makes you give thanks for the sheer privilege of having lived to experience such pleasure.
