A song from the very early 1990s, which I always liked for the improbably cheerful and sunny note it brought to the overcast skies of northern Europe: 'Lambada'….indeed, it is a song I recall as a sort of soundtrack which was often played (by me) to a astounding backdrop of extraordinary [political] change...

Moonlight Mile by The Rolling Stones. One of their most underrated songs, but Jaggers vocals are incredible.

A few tracks from a CD called "Journey Beyond The Isles" by Stephen Edmundson: The tracks - in order of listening are 'Trois Matelots', 'Unhappy Wanderer', 'The Wanderer's Redemption', 'Thallasaki', and 'Caspian Waltz'..

Just for the Coldplay fans, (there is a rather heated debate on the merits of this group elsewhere on these fora0, I am listening to one of my own favourite tracks. The track is called 'Clocks' and it is from an album called 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head'.

I made a new iTunes Radio station out of L'appuntamento and currently playing is Sous Le Ciel De Paris by Edith Piaf - La Mome: The Very Best of Edith Piaf.

A few years old, but such a great dance floor song! Oh yeah! Get dancing!

Ah, I love some of the songs of Edith Piaf. "Non, je ne regrette rien" is one of my own personal favourites. Excellent choice.

For myself, I decided to revisit some music I used to love some years ago: Thus, I give you the group The Doors, (which I hadn't listened to in an age; once upon a relatively distant time, I used to listen to these songs almost daily…..) with the wonderful songs 'Light My Fire', and 'Riders On The Storm'.

That's a good one too.

Currently playing is She's Always a Woman To Me, by Billy Joel.

I like some of Piaf's songs, too. However, for now, this is what I am hung up on. A song by one of the greatest voice ever.

One Moment in Time by the late Whitney Houston (damn drugs…) during the Grammys in 1989. This is a song for the summer Olympiads in 1988. It's probably one of the best performances of hers. Chills and goosebumps expected whilst listening.

Great choice. Gosh, I have to say, looking at the image you have posted, that Master Dylan looks so extraordinarily young in that photograph. Unbelievable.

For myself, I am currently listening to a track I have long loved: Lou Reed and 'Perfect Day'.
