I haven't listened to Neil Young for ages, and I so far only really know this album, but I love it...

When I was a teen in the 90's I was aware of industrial music and knew a few names but it wasn't something I was really into. I now would like to know more about it and get to know what I missed, so found this as an introduction. One of the great things about streaming now is I can easily find related and new artists with minimal effort....here is this mornings listening....X

This is great, thanks! Have bookmarked the links..

Sound Affects ... I need to listen to it again. It's been a while and I remember not being too crazy about it originally.

I have a friend who asked about them and I'm trying to decide between Setting Sons or All Mod Cons as a birthday gift for them...
All Mod Cons it is!

Norman Greenbaum, The Professor of Rock, a prototype Fuzztone pedal, a low-budget gospel chorus, and goats.

This video made me so, so happy. PoR had been trying to find this guy for ten years, finally did via Kenny Loggins (!!), and the interview was so cool for music nerds like me. I've cranked this record every time I heard it for, what, 40 years?

...Aaand I just realized this riff is also very prominent in a certain tune from that little ol' band from Texas.... La Grange.
