Spent a while last night listening to some classics from the 1980s and 1990s:

Duran Duran, The Go-Betweens (Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express - what an excellent, if under-appreciated, album), and several songs from Squeeze (I always loved Last Time Forever).

We had a couple of classics from Simple Minds whilst cooking earlier.

Don't you (forget about me) - Which always makes me think of The Breakfast Club.
Alive & Kicking - Another classic.

Then The Specials - Ghost Town. A track I associate with nights out from my youth.

My mom brought home this album from the record store the other day, it's my new favorite. No idea how she finds stuff like this. This is the first track of the first side.

I love both Simple Minds and The Specials (now, that is an idea for later this evening....)
