In some cases form over function:

- Headphones out at the back.
This 'issue' is solved by connecting the iMac to an amp and plugging the phones in the amp's headphones out.
(While connected to an amp I now play music a lot more over my speakers, though not as good as with a dedicated cd player the sound is pretty good!)

- Awfully placed usb ports at the keyboard.

And finally this tiny annoyance:
Slow disc reading and a drop in system responsiveness, even with 4 gb of ram, when a disc is inside, no matter if the system is busy reading or not reading the disc at all.

Other than that I have no quarrels.

I hate that i have to buy extra items for everything... Mini-DVI to DVI , Modem Dongle, Eye tv.... ect... I'd love the mouse if the scroll ball didn't have to be cleaned so often...

Other than that.. I love it!

All the stuff you mentioned applies to a new iMac or older ones? I didnt have to get any of that and no pc comes with what EyeTV does, not even the media version of windows. You have to buy a cabecard or something similiar for it.

The sound is the kill-joy for me. The out of the box sound is sub-standard imo, but I'm used to 5.1 from a X-Fi on my PC. Turn up the volume loud enough on my PC, and the fan-noise sounds more like tinitus. I think I will have to invest in a 5.1 S/P-DIF sound system...

I also wish that BD and Apple could agree that trying to protect digital media content is a loosing battle, so that we could have a BD drive in the iMac - but I'm repeating myself already.

I love the keyboard! I cant see what could be wrong with it??? The mighty mouse is a bit of a struggle, but I still love it.

The sleepy wake-up bug is annoying, but I think of it as personality ;)

Sorry to be farting flowers - I just got it, and I'm in love.

Well unlike the pc counter part at least it comes with speakers. *shrug*

A small tint on the right side of the display (which it seems that every machine has to some extent), a bit of lag on the wireless mighty mouse, not possible to o/c graphic card because of BIOS-override (in bootcamp), unable to hold down "alt" and get the boot-OS menu with other keyboard (need to use the wireless one), the graphic card is the mobile version (yet advertised as desktop grade 8800GS), the annoying hissing sound while using connected headphones, unable to upgrade CPU, GPU and disk, unable to use the screen for x-box or PS3 (not that I own one...).

But these are all mostly minor gripes. It´s a great machine! :)

1.That you cant easily get inside like the first rev G5s
2. Apple could have picked better screens to use...especially in the 20"
3. That you cant adjust the height of the display like the G4 iMacs

Thats about it. Everything else is peachy for me

Well, I just bought my iMac and I love it! It's the 2.66Ghz, 2gb model and I have Windoz XP loaded on a second partition, and everything works fine! No complaints so far. :D

I don't really have any problems

The only odd thing is the sheer size of the monitor. I've never used anything bigger than 19" before and I am still getting used to this thing. Everything seems to be OK in the way that the machine works but I have a horrible feeling that I am eventually going to get sick of this mouse; it's not really bothering me at the moment but it's the sort of thing that I get irritated at.
