Was there an express ship option?

Any builds coming sooner than November 3rd?

I had people calling me on the phone, stuff on the screen and I was really focused on just getting my order in. Also trying to place my order on two separate computers as both were sluggish and glitchy.

I had my phone and my laptop going. The store app on my phone worked the best in the end. I do wish they'd have their systems able to cope from the first moment.

base model 16" - next Tuesday.
Although im not entirely sure if I keep that order or upgrade to 32gb of ram.
Maybe programers, who are already using an M1 Mac can tell me, how well the M1 gets along with 16gb. (Mostly Visual Studio with a VM active)
 
First I ordered on my laptop and the website literally crashed at the final confirmation step before entering payment (never seen that on Apple).

Then I went to app on iPad and it was still in my cart, completed transaction but after payment got spinning wheel forever.

Back to laptop, new website session, STLL in cart. Finished order successfully! Got “we’re processing your order” email.

Must have taken like 20 minutes and I saw initial dates in late october (26th?) but final order was November 5th - 10th.

I have a feeling bots were involved this time…as Apple ordering is usually better than this.

*EDIT* Cancelled the order. I'll wait for a desktop version.

*EDIT 2* I weakened. Ordered a 14" M1 Pro 16GB 1TB - 26th Oct.

Site crashed a lot and my ship time slipped twice in the checkout flow. First ship estimate when checking out was like first half of nov and then by the time I fully checked out it slipped to 12/2 - 12/9. The wait is gonna suck a little.

Ordered: 16in Pro Max / 32 gigs ram / 2tb storage
