Sharing a picture of your notification center displaying the widgets would be cool for us to see what you have !!

Edit : Anyone else waiting for a Google Now widget ?

Here are my 2 favorite. Weather Underground & Yahoo Sports:

Vidget. Once they add more options, it should be more useful.

I also use a Android style app (since removed from app store) that allows me to make anything a shortcut on the notification menu.

Widgets are almost helping me not miss jailbreaking for Lock Info. I'm not posting pics because you can check them out on in the App Store, but here's a list of my favorite widgets:

-Agenda plus - lets you see reminders and your upcoming events in Calendar.
-Quick-Tap - I missed out on Launcher, so this is second best. Lets me make calls from the NC and open web pages.
-Check the Weather - a great weather widget
-TeeVee - lets me see upcoming TV shows
-Cheatsheet - Puts things I can't remember in the NC for quick access
-Widgets - mainly for the calculator

What's a widget?

Widgets are small apps that work in the notification center in iOS8. Notification Center is accessed by pulling down from the top of the screen. These apps can be found in the App Store. Some the apps you already have on your phone likely have widgets built-in.

Nice widgets, I have yet to find one that is really useful to me, other than weather and a calculator.

Here are a few I like that haven't been mentioned.

Transit App: lists the nearby public transportation stops and the minutes before the next couple departures.

Day One: a personal journaling app where the widget shows how often you're made entries and includes randomized thumbnails of the photos you've included.

StepCount: shows the number of steps you've made during the day.

Maybe something will come along to change my mind, but I find widgets only mildly interesting/useful. Vidgets is the closest thing to useful I've found

How many different ways to see the weather do we need?

Most of the stuff you can see via swiping down and selecting Today, (which for some reason isn't always selected on my phone.) is just a swipe/tap away on the native app.
