I like NOAA Radar Pro

I installed the app and opened it but it does not show when I pull from the top.

What else needs to be done?

After you pull down the Notification Center you need to add the Widget by tapping on Edit at the bottom of NC.

Sharing a picture of your notification center displaying the widgets would be cool for us to see what you have !!

Edit : Anyone else waiting for a Google Now widget ?

Yes I'm hoping for a Google now widget, besides that I'm only currently using stock widgets.

I never understand people's obsession with widgets.

I never understand people's obsession with using the word obsession when they talk about something they don't like but it's clearly not the case. It's a ridiculous statement.

an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind.

Do you REALLY think anyone obsesses over widgets????

Here are a few I like that haven't been mentioned.

Transit App: lists the nearby public transportation stops and the minutes before the next couple departures.

Day One: a personal journaling app where the widget shows how often you're made entries and includes randomized thumbnails of the photos you've included.

StepCount: shows the number of steps you've made during the day.
Thank you for the tip on Transit. That is a fantastic widget (free!) for anyone that relies on public transportation.

I've tried a bunch but these are the 4 ones that seem to be most useful for me as a widget:

Reminders
Sunrise Calendar (beta has a widget YAY!!)
NOAA Radar Pro (for weather)
Yahoo Sports
American Airlines (only shows when you have a boarding pass loaded)

I enable some for a specific need/time. I do wish that if there's nothing to display, the widget wouldn't show like the AA & Reminders widgets. Sunrise (and all other calendars) are there regardless of if you have something on the books or not. It bothers my OCD. lol.

What does the Sunrise widget look like?

I like it a lot. I just wish it would disappear when there's nothing on the books. A common gripe with most calendar widgets.

That looks pretty good. Similar to Calendars (or Calendars 5) from Readdle which I've been using so far. I'll definitely try it out once it's released.

And I definitely agree about the widget being able to disappear when there's nothing to display--as you mentioned Apple's Reminders does it but even their own Calendar one doesn't.
