I tried these but the sound was so terrible. There is like 0 bass and I like bass heavy headphones. The solo beats had much better sound.

True, but this is a positiv matter in my case, the powerbeats 2 are the first beats with not to much bass (ps a lot of bass is not better sound, it is often a way to hide a lack of sound quality). In the tests, the people were surprised of their sound quality.
But Different people, different needs. I run 60-80 km a week and like to listen to audio books. Not so much bass needed for this.
Since they are specialy designed for sport (running) they choose to limit the bass, to here what's arround you:
Cnet review: "The headphones come with a few different sizes of silicone eartips. Beats reps told me that, depending on the eartips you choose, you can opt to go for a tighter seal or leave some breathing room to let ambient noise in for safety reasons. Many people like to be able to hear cars coming when they're running or biking. (For the record, Beats marketing material says, "Powerbeats earphones are specially designed to pump clear bass at any volume while letting in ambient noise, making sure athletes stay safe while training," so it seems that they aren't meant to be jammed in your ears like many in-ear models)."

Even the Apple head phones had better sounding bass. I would like some headphones that have bass and in ear comfort.

matter of fact yes ^^

ps with the Powerbeats 2 you have to choose wisely the plastic/silicon in ear piece (different sizes are provided) With the right size you gaine a lot of bass back. For 2 weeks I was afraid of the total lack of bas, I read a review, change the pieces to a bigger size and WAS REALLY surprised about the change!

Just ordered Jaybird Bluebuds X based on recommendations from this forum. BestBuy/Amazon have them on sale for $126.99. Hopefully they're awesome, if not I'll return them and keep searching.

I have some LG Tone's that I used to use when I had a Note 3 -- now I use my iPhone headphones since I hate holding the 6 Plus to my ear. I guess I'll start back using the Tone's now.

Try the Soundpeats... they're so much cheaper. Maybe not quite as good, but the jaybirds certainly aren't $100 better. The Soundpeats are actually quite nice.

Just ordered a pair of the Soundpeats. They have great reviews on Amazon (LOVE Prime) and in this thread. I'm considering a pair of Beats or maybe wait for the Bragi mentioned earlier in the thread.

I am sure u will, just make they fitted properly for your ear. For the best experience.

Just got them today. I spent some time trying to get the fit just right, but once I did, they're quite nice. The sound is pretty good, good enough that's for sure - not as good as proper headphones (obviously), but definitely better than I had expected. Do you use the secure-fit ear things? I found them annoying so I don't use them. Maybe I'm just not using them right.

Yes I do use the secure-fit, u have to try the different sizes until u find the one that fits the best. I use the largest ones for my ear, to get a snug fit. I also wear mine behind my neck. So the controls button, would be on the left ear. Instead of the right one. Just look at your manual, or there website. U will see how the secure fit. Should be positioned in the ear canal etc. also try the different ear tips, they also will have an effect on sound quality.

Just picked up the PowerBeats2 Wireless. Heres a little many review for others considering it:

First impressions were a bit on the bad side as the assembly feels a bit cheap and they seam a bit flimsy which is not to be expected in something so expensive. The charging port also has one of those cheap rubber pieces on it that easily break off.

As for the good, this headset has really good sound. The level of bass is perfect in my opinion. Another great thing is that these have to be the best design for being active. I can shake my head as hard and fast and PowerBeats2 don't move out of my ear in any way at all.

Overall, a great headset but at a step price.

I've gone through probably 5 pair of budget bluetooth headphones in the last couple years... this is the first pair I'm genuinely happy with out of the box. Takes a little while to find the perfect fit (it comes with a ton of various attachments), but once you do, they fit like a dream.

$30 Soundpeats from Amazon. I've tried expensive earbuds but can't justify the huge jump in price for marginal improvement in sound quality, coupled with the fact they're generally trashed after a year or two (running/sweat kills them). These sound incredible for the price they retail for.

I can't wait to get my hands on the Bragi Dash when they are finally released. These things do everything but cook your breakfast for you. They keep pushing the release back, though. This is the second most anticipated wearable I've been waiting for behind the Apple Watch. These two belong together.

These seem fantastic. I want them.
