What Book Are You Reading?
How about the Nancy Drew mysteries by Carolyn Keene? I'm 21 and I still read them. You said your daughter loves mysteries, I think these books are very enjoyable
Other recommendations:
Half-Moon Investigations by Eoin Colfer
Shakespeare's Secrets and Masterpiece by Elise Broach
Down the Rabbit Hole by Peter Abrahams
The Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley. These books are published for adults but I think children can enjoy them too. The main protagonist is an 11 year old English girl who has a talent for solving murders. The books are set in early 1950s Britain. This is what the author said when someone asked him if the books are suitable for children.

Although written for adults, the Flavia books can be read by anyone who enjoys them. Ive heard from readers ranging in age from 8 to 95.
