I just use Safari. It gets the job done for me. If Mozilla ever made Firefox for iOS then I would use that for the syncing capabilities with FF on OS X.

iCab is the most versatile browser on the App Store IMO. It literally has hundreds of options to customize it.

I personally use the following on it:
Adblocker
+
Ability to download files
+
Ability to upload files
+
Cloud support
+
Fullscreen mode with semi transparent control toggles

Since "upgrading" to iOS 7 I've been using Mercury browser. I hold the phone in landscape orientation and there's a bug with Safari where it auto-rotates the screen counter clockwise every time you unlock the phone. Mercury offers rotation lock which works around the bug

Yes, all browsers must use webkit. The frontend is all that changes from app to app.

I use mobile Safari because it's faster than the rest thanks to Nitro (javascript engine) not being available to other browsers. Mobile Safari seems to load twice as fast on most websites.

Yes, Dolphin is webkit. A minor fact I did not realize until I looked it up. Guess I have to retract my earlier statement.

I used dolphin for android for years and loved it, didn't even know it existed for ios. I'll have to check it out.

I've been using safari with adblock on iphone.

One of the things I really like about it is that it has a Firefox extension that allows you to share tabs between Dolphin on iOS and Firefox on your computer.

Sure, you can do that with Safari, but Dolphin is one of the few third party browsers I know of that is capable of this.

I have it installed now and I see where you can sync chrome or firefox, I synced with the android version and am syncing now, but it looks like it does not support all of the add on extensions the android version does and sonar is free on android (didn't use it so doesn't matter, used some of the add on's. It still looks promising though, I am going to run it for a while and think I will probably stick with it.

I prefer Safari, but sometimes I get stuck on mobile view of a website and Chrome handles desktop view much easier.
