I use FirefoxDeveloperEdition for my general browsing and everyday use.
Once in a while if something won't load correctly (because of my many privacy add-ons) I will use safari.

I am switching to Safari at the moment, as Chrome has become a bit too unwieldy.

Things I already miss, are reopen multiple closed tabs, bookmarks in the favourites bar not being aligned to the left, and the need for flash on websites like BBC/Deezer etc.

....so assuming HTML5 hurries up and gets to the mainstream, no real dealbreakers yet.

Some of us do use different browsers for different things; I use Safari as my "general" browser, Chrome for video streaming and Google things, Chrome Canary for my business, and Firefox for my "personal" browsing. :D

While I use two browsers, you're using four but that other poster Delta has over 10. That's just insane and I can't see why anyone would need to use 10 or more browsers.

I use Google Chrome. uBlock Origin is able to block ads on Youtube unlike the uBlock for Safari. I will never install or download another Mozilla project ever again.

I run Ublock Origin and YouTube Centre, and between the 2 of them I don't get any Youtube adverts....same for Twitch etc.

Currently just Chrome. I sometimes use Safari or Firefox for those weird sites that just don't seem to work on specific browsers for whatever reasons. The last few versions of Safari (since Mavericks maybe) seems to do this weird thing where loading pages are really unresponsive and you can't type in their text fields as the text just goes into the url bar which annoys me to no end.

Here
My main browser is Safari. I use it for 90% of my web activity because it is by far the smoothest of all major browsers and I use features like Reading List and iCloud Tabs every day. (I have over 100 articles in my reading list right now  )

I use Google Chrome to access my school content and online homework because Safari and Ghostery don't play well with fancy websites. Chrome is also my Flash player for those rare times I need it.

I only use Firefox to check my YouTube subscriptions. I don't want to stay signed into Google in Safari all the time and have them logging what I do for their wretched Google Plus and signing in and out is a pain, so I just use Firefox for that.

I'm currently using Safari on the latest public beta, and I like how smooth it seems compared to Chrome. Scrolling is so much less of a drag compared to Chrome for me, and you can't forget to mention the battery life Safari gives versus Chrome (Obviously). What browser are you using?

Doesn't seem anyone mentioned the biggest Safari dealbreaker... there's no Hangouts extension. SO no Google Voice support.

Safari.
I like Chrome more actually, but it consumes so much battery and playing videos is terrible on it. In Safari I can easily play 4K videos in YouTube, on Chrome they are not smooth at all, and even 1080P makes my MacBook so hot, so I just use Safari.

Safari most of the time. Chrome for flash when I need it. Firefox to do schoolwork.

The only extensions/addons I need are AdBlock + Youtube HD (auto-fixes Youtube video qualities to HD if possible, so convenient) and since Safari has them, I feel no need to switch my main browser. Of course, I have Adblock on all three of the browsers I use. I don't watch Youtube on Chrome or Firefox though, so not that one.

Edit: misspelled a word

This is all really surprising to me, I didn't realize anyone used Safari. Safari, to me, has always been the best OSX browser for downloading Chrome. I don't know anyone in IT that uses Safari, and I assumed most of the people here were pretty technical.

Safari has come a long way since they added extensions support. For me it is the fastest and most stable browser on OS X. Chrome is a resource hog and makes me feel too much like I'm using Windows when using it on OS X. Same for Firefox.

Firefox - I like the option to delete history when closing browser- also use it on Windows (when I have to use Windows) so.. Probably try Safari again - really never noticed speed difference between browsers
