Edge, so I can have it synced with all my other devices, including Android phone and Windows machines. All that without having to resort to Chrome...
As I mentioned above, Safari is just too slow for me. Firefox seems to be getting better and better (and faster), but I continue to like Brave. Never have had an issue with it.I use Edge now and don't really have any complaints. Firefox was my default browser for a long time, but every so often one of its updates breaks something. I tried Brave and it's pretty good, but has a few issues. As for Safari, I keep wanting to like it but to me it's just an awful browsing experience.
right... my guess it would be chrome and safari. I use Firefox on my Windows Desktop but I find chrome and safari faster on Mac, right now im on safari but I miss uBlock so I guess someday I will be back to Chrome or Firefox.I'm surprised how well Firefox is doing in this poll. I wonder if Firefox is over performing with forum members, or if users of it here on the forum are just more vocal.
It would be interesting if MacRumors would share browser share for hits to the forum with us.
I'm not surprised, as Firefox seems to be getting faster and faster with each new version. I'm still using Brave, but am leaning more and more to start using Firefox.I'm surprised how well Firefox is doing in this poll. Their attempt to generate profit by redirecting ads to their own profit / ads was ... eh, it didn't bother me terribly but it irked me a little. But I don't know of any privacy issues - please do educate us (not sarcastic in the least bit).
Yeah, I'm always skeptical of things I don't pay for. They have to make money somehow and that ... you know the saying - "Money is the root of all evil" - Thanks for the links. I remember when they were pushing their own ads HEAVILY - irked me but I never knew this happened. From last year:
