Great, please post some pics when it arrives:)

Came in today. Worth the few bucks it cost. I was going to put a band on it anyway to hold my Apple Pencil, but now I'll also use it to keep the case closed.

Thanks! Looks pretty solid for what you get at this price Mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, although it is supposed to have transparent back. Will post some pics when I get it.

Am I correct in thinking this picture they posted on the amazon page is quite misleading with regards to the thickness of the case: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/714LFtb-WYL._SL1500_.jpg

It makes the case look thiner than the camera bump, but from your picture it looks significantly thicker?

It is definitely more than flush with the camera bump.

I didn't see one with a transparent back or that's definitely what I would have gotten. After all, what's the point of getting a rose gold iPad if nobody ever sees it?!

I didn't want to bulk mine up so am trying a soft silicone skin on the back and a glass screen protector on the front.. I'll be slipping it into this thing.. Which I've customised, haha. I might buy another case when I don't want to wrap my iPad in my "Cthulhu's handkerchief" design.

Business up front...

Party in the back!

Pro arrives tomorrow, can't wait. :D

Seriously though this is pretty lovely as a sleeve before I started doodling on it, you can fold it, move the magnetic strap and use it as an iPad stand:

I have the JETech smart case right now and am relatively happy with it, but I am waiting for the Speck Stylefolio Pencil or STM Atlas to be released because I want someplace to store my Pencil.

OK I've come to the conclusion that I should've bought the smart keyboard.. It seems that Zagg didn't make theirs with the proper speaker cutouts.. go figure. and Logitech doesn't seem to be announcing the new keyboard anytime soon. Grrr.

Using the Zagg Folio right now for the Pro. There are no speaker cutouts at all. They said that they designed it so the sound funnels out front. It actually doesn't sound bad. I'm likely returning it since I want something that I can remove the keyboard from (they are releasing their Slim Book one that you can remove the iPad from the keyboard by the end of the month), though. Figure a 30-day trial would be fine since I can return it within 30 days to Best Buy.

Still thinking I am going to try to rig either the Belkin QODA to work with the Pro and an Apple silicone case (with some magnets under the case) or try a Brydge with an Apple case and the Air 1 shims.

Thanks for the confirmation. Heard lots of good things about the apple Smart Keyboard so I might make the jump..

Those who have the apple smart keyboard.. Overall is it worth the money?
Yes! The ASK is probably the main reason I went with the iPad Pro over the Air. Having a keyboard has made the iPad significantly more usable for me. And the keyboard is amazingly light and thin. Expensive, yes. But well engineered. I got it on sale with the ATT 20% off accessory deal (there's a thread about it).

I saw that!! I'm tempted to get both the pencil (even though I'd prob use it for some light notes and adult coloring books) and the keyboard since you can't get it cheaper anywhere else with that deal..

Yes. I was dubious at first until I tried it in the Apple Store. Whilst it's not the same as a regular and full size keyboard it works well for what it is and the fact that it doesn't rely on a Bluetooth connection or it's own power source ( which inevitable has to be charged all be it probably not that often ) and draws power directly from the iPad is great. That and it's lighter and less bulky then other normal keyboards or keyboard cases.

I don't really need back lighting so that's not an issue. Also as I found out recently there are a number of keyboard short cuts which help a great deal. It is expensive but then most first party official accessories especially Apple ones are pretty pricey usually. I have a Logitech keyboard cover for my iPad Air 2 and it's far heavier and bulkier not to mention relies on Bluetooth plus it's own power source.

I went with the apple silicone case and Smart Keyboard. Pricey but very happy with the fit. I like the variety of colors too. I went with lilac because it goes well with the gray keyboard.

Hi, is that the Stone color back? Do you mind posting some more pictures of it while attached to the keyboard?

I just received this ESR case:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Leather-Mag...01D06IZFM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I wanted something for some protection until the high quality cases become available (and I've decided on which one to order)

For the price I'm impressed. The back cover is a hard plastic of which I do doubt if it will survive a fall but the cutouts are perfect, the only one that's a little tight is the one around the camera lens. The smart function (wake up/sleep) does work. Though I'm pretty pleased for the price I will still be looking out for something else, preferably with a way to hold the pencil as well.

Right now I've got my eye on these:
Sena 360 Vettra http://www.senacases.com/vettra-360-ipad-pro-9-7
Dodo case http://www.dodocase.com/products/ipad-pro-9-7-cases

I've also looked at the Kavaj but I don't like cases that cover the bezels, or the Pad & Quill but I don't know about their adhesive technique to hold the iPad...
Just received the Sena and I am returning it. The camera is covered by the rotating portion of the case and you will have to rotate it an inch in order to have the camera unobstructed.

I finally got the Smart Keyboard yesterday!! You guys are right, it really is a nice keyboard. Also ordered a clear case that's Smart Cover compatible from Amazon so that will compliment the iPad and not leave the back exposed for long.

I'm really loving the official Apple case and cover. I swore I wouldn't buy it but after finding no soft edge solutions yet and since a hard shell generic case ate the corners off one of my older generation iPads, I bit the bullet and got the Apple set. Honestly, the product is amazing. It's butter smooth and feels great in the hand. I think it's actually higher quality than the leather smart case from the Air 1 (although I do wish it were one piece rather than two). The price is still outrageous but I think $59-79 would be very reasonable for this set.

One gripe about the Apple set though...the colors online look so rich but the actual items are a different color completely. I had the pink, which is a nice bubblegum pink online but in person it is a washed out fleshy pink. I returned it in exchange for the royal blue, which online looks like a periwinkle/purple blue but again in person it's more of just a light cool shaded blue. The mint and orange are also much more washed out in person than as advertised. Just a word of encouragement for folks to buy these in store to see the true color rather than ordering sight unseen.

I got the mint case and I thought the color looked exactly like it did online. I have no complaints.

Photo of the Royal blue in person vs the online Royal blue picture

The royal blue case on the Apple website viewed on my Mac doesn't look at all like the royal blue in your photo. I wonder if it has to do with the monitor or computer you are using?

Will do!

Meanwhile, I'm also enjoying the tstand. Not a case, but really nice with the small Pro. View attachment 627157View attachment 627158

That looks like a nice stand - does it have a floor length version? Could you please provide a link? I'm looking for something like that to use while working on knitting patterns.
